About Ron Krit
Ron brings a wealth of experience to the table. Prior to establishing Krit Consulting, he held several key roles in the nonprofit and corporate sectors. At the Harold Grinspoon Foundation (HGF), he served as the National Director of Life & Legacy, where his team led initiatives in 73 communities across the U.S. and Canada—resulting in more than $1.5 billion in endowment commitments.
Before his tenure at HGF, Ron spent 15 years at the Jewish United Fund in Chicago, where he held the role of Associate Vice President of Endowment Development. During this time, he was instrumental in conceiving, overseeing, and executing a robust marketing and communications strategy that contributed to the growth of a two-billion-dollar endowment.
Ron also worked closely with donors and supervised the Life & Legacy program in Chicago, playing a vital role in its inception. Thanks to his collaborative efforts with colleagues, the Chicago community successfully raised over $62 million for program participants. Ron's professional journey has encompassed diverse industries, including management consulting, marketing, and training, spanning areas like banking and event management. Currently residing in the Chicago suburbs with his family, Ron is not just a seasoned professional; he's also an entrepreneur. For over two decades, he has managed a wellness company and added to his creative endeavors as the author of multiple novels.
